Agrivest is an expanding Macadamia estate located close to Namwera in Mangochi. The company is recruiting hard working, dynamic, mature individuals to fill the vacancies listed below and join the company at an exciting time in its development and expansion.
Livestock Supervisor (Requirement x 2)
Reporting to the Farm Manager, this is a hands-on management role that Includes a range of livestock management and operational duties. The ideal candidate should have experience in animal nutrition and feedlot systems with knowledge of pasture management and rotational grazing practices. They must be passionate about animal husbandry and have experience of managing breeding programs.
• Diploma in Agricultural livestock management
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar (or relevant) role.
• Apiary/ Bee keeping experience is of added advantage.
• Computer literate with good spreadsheet skills
• Good verifiable references are essential.
