ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend to Electrical breakdowns and execute
- Planned and predictive maintenance on Printing machines and equipment to minimize downtime
- Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting Electrical and Electronic systems
- Repairs and services to other equipment like generators, Air compressors and other Electrical gadgets
- Carry out routine audits on Equipment and all Electrical systems, and take corrective action
- Training and supervision of interns and other junior staff, and to carry out any other duties that may be prescribed by Management from time to time.
THE PERSON
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, preferably in the printing Industry
- Knowledge of PLCs, Variable Speed Drives and Electronics
- Must have a minimum of Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical blueprint and diagrams
- High level of analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Be teachable to operate all the machines, and to carry out any other duties.
